   Well. To Shinn I have to ask. 3 persons. Who are well trained and work as a team. Of cource there will be not fatalities with only 3 people. But I actually though one ship would be blow up. Either the Eternal or Archangel.

   Otherwise, boring ending. Seems like there will be more Gundam Seed. Maybe a sequel happening 20 years after Kira and Lacus are dead and some little child just stumble across S-Freedom and is forced to fight evil…

   It was cool to see Lacus go into SEED Mode longer then 2 seconds.
   On second thought . . .

   But it was cool to see Shinn’s women! All but Luna but she isn’t dead so XP!

   I wasn’t talking about just Kira, Athrun, and the like…the entire Archangel crew/Terminal/”Three” Ships Alliance was chock full of characters who could have died, and not a single one did. Oh well, guess you can’t have it all. I’m just glad Fukuda didn’t mercilessly murder the one girl I had left to cry with!

   Damn it! I smell a sequel… I think Shinn Asuka agrees.. Revenge is always a good plotline don’t you think? plus the news from Gunota’s Blog says there’s a 40 minute special episode on the Final DVD.. so you’ll either have to buy it or wait until it’s seeded on the net…

   A sequel? Even if they had planned one, I can’t imagine one getting approved.

   Destiny started out good, took off again around the time Neo got owned and from there on became utter crap.

   What was the point with Shinn? At least they should have pulled a Zeta instead of leaving him even more pathetic than ever. I mean, he didn’t even come to insight about anything at all. Shinn had no personality, no story, and no point in the show.

   the ending was alright I guess, better than the utter crap episodes anyway :/ I wasn’t expecting much, I hope they do a better job in the October 2006 gundam series.

   yeah it’s not about the “no casualities thing” but kira and athrun owned the other suits and didn’t even get scratched, it’s like they are godlike, I hate that, these new suits didn’t even show their true power due to wasted episodes.

   I hope they fire Fukuda now, he managed to ruin a otherwise good series with crappy decisions.

    Yep, I definitely agree…Fukuda said he wanted a SEED trilogy, and it looks like that’s the direction he’s going in. I heard about that special episode, too…hopefully it expands enough on the ending to explain the aftermath and exactly what happens to the surviving characters.

    *sigh* Sad but true…blame Fukuda’s wife for that. She was the one who wrote the storyboard and screwed me over.

    It’s hard to say…I really liked Kira in SEED (back when I didn’t have a role, LOL), just significantly less in Destiny. He gained a few brownie points towards the end, though it doesn’t change the fact he killed my Stellar…I won’t hold it against him as much anymore, though. Luna’s a babe, and we really hit it off together, so in a sense I guess that I ought to be thanking the guy.

    Totally agreed. No more Fukuda. Gundam deserves better.

    This is really the end :’( , although it got crappy at the end we were here every week talking about it, that was a good part, otherwise I wouldn’t get back into doing it every episode. next week there’s no episode so will not be here comenting this series anymore :’(

    As of the extra episode, I guess it will be like the OAV from Gundam SEED, It would be good if the DVD’s were a “directors cut” with more scenes and revised story, but I doubt that will happen, anyway… they should put in a extended final episode, a beliavable one, where shinn kicked ass, they could even do a alternative final, like “end of eva” with a diferent (and better) more believable story.

    I mean… Shinn defeated Freedom in impulse and then gets owned by Athrun with a 2 minute fight? he could have done better there was no scene were the damaged mobile suits kept fighting until they couldn’t anymore, they just got owned by the unscratched sfreedom and ijustice…
    Shinn should be (and is) a good pilot at the level of Athrun and Kira.

    I don’t know what to say.

    The 40 minute episode 52 will probably be a recap episode with narration.
    And 10 minutes of it will probably be Shinn gratifying himself with Mayu’s celly.

    Shinn. From what I saw Stellar was killed by some tiny parts that came flying and slashed her good.

    What I would have liked to see is how much of that damage would have been done if you hadn´t sliced open the cockpit. You blame Kira for killing Stellar? When it was your actions that really did her in?
    It isn´t healthy to stay away from the truth like that. And from what I also remember I would have liked to see your reaction when you split the Destroy in two only to find that it was Stellar piloting it.
    What would you have done then?

    And I meant the Doom troopers when I said that about 3 people. And some people did die if you watch closely we see the archangel getting hit quite bad and thus a fire erupting and killing some people before they make the final shoot.

    This is the lamest ending ive ever seen in pistures. I don’t noe everything about the show i only watched 13 of em and its ok..Y the hell did Rey shoot C.Dullindal?The ending to me seemed pretty much like GS and pretty boring considered.

    The last guy was right when he said that the show started off good and ended up total crap. How did Morosawa and Fukuda get jobs at Sunrise to continue something that has the name “Gundam” in it?!

    Seed was unwatchable. Not bad, but unwatchable. It’s some wierd mixture of MSG and Wing. Destiny was too early and spared too many of the old cast from Seed.

    Fukuda wants to be Tomino but is too scared to be him. Tomino had a spine, depression, a large ego, and an inability to be a team player because of his strictness. He smashed a Gundam model and stated that this was his next show. Most directors now are too intrested in “moe” and young girls. Bleh!
