Here is your chance. Nintendo has a campaign where you have the chance to play Tetris DS against Utada Hikaru if you are lucky.

If you think she is lousy on Tetris because we all know girl can’t play video games, think again. Even though she was born in New York, she is still Japanese. Like all other Japanese people, she sold her soul to a gaming god in exchange for mad skillz.

Lately she is been talking quite a lot about Tetris on her blog. Here is an entry posted yesterday where she brags about her score — 8229968.

I think I’m going to try to beat her record because beating girls is something I enjoy doing. The reason why I haven’t played Tetris DS very much is that I’m afraid that it will consume me like Lumines did last year.
