The tarako cupie craze has been going on for a while now. And “tarako” translates to fish baby. There’s a ringtone for the CM and everything the whole song is rather entrancing. Basically it’s a pasta sauce that uses cod roe. The company is Cupie and the cupie doll is their mascot. BTW this is so not pedobait. Well maybe the tarako girls but they’re pretty covered.
I want to be a tarako girl for Halloween. They should sell costumes.
Is it just me or are they using a caucasian girl for a Japanese ad or was the ad made in another country and just audio converted to Japanese. I don’t know? Maybe Japan uses caucasian girls all the time.
Each day it passes it gets more and more creppy to me… the song’s percussion looks as a perfect song for a nightmare. I cant believe that somebody could be eating that, but the sad reality says that it is in fact possible.
I still think that the loli is a japanese one.
This is truly distrurbing. And Japanese!!!
Note the date: Creepy, disturbing and Japanese is just what I’m looking for right now.
No, I don’t need any Uziga Waita. Keep that to yourself.

That’s some advertising campaign they got going there.
The girl is cute… but the video scares me though I can’t say why.

They use people of all different races at various times.
I love Japanese commercial advertisements. This one is also cute/scary.
Though the Japanese love for little girls shall never exceed mine, their obsession with them probably already has.
Kid looks pretty confused too.
those tarakos make good silent hill enemies…
Someone should make an animated gif of that kid with the thing spinning on its head.
I like the fact that amercain actors that would never do tv ads(e.g. Harrison Ford) are on all the time in japan
It gets even weirder. This thing’s a phenomenon.
its not wierd, just kind of disturbing… like seeing the twins calling your name on the movie: the shining

As I said earlier, Japan and many of us have been caught up with Cupie Tarako commericals.
