Pokédex completed - I no longer have a reason to live

That is it, I’ve finally completed the National Pokédex in Pokémon Emerald. It doesn’t end there, though. Through breeding and trading with myself, I’ve made sure to have all 386 Pokémons, sorted in numerical order, in my storage boxes.

The some of the Event Pokémons might be less legit than others. I don’t feel bad for it and for all I know the game thinks they are legit. It’s not my fault Nintendo and all other companies treat Europe as the Third World of gaming. They never have any events here.

I don’t know what I should do now that I’ve caught every Pokémon. I’ve finished the Japanese version of Pokémon Diamond (70-ish Pokémons in possession, National Pokédex unlocked, Sheimi and Darkrai obtained through glitches) and just got the fourth badge in Pearl. Even though all Pokémons except for the previous starters and legendaries are available in D/P, I think I’ll wait for the US version before I attempt to catch one of every Pokémon again. Mainly because I have a US version of Emerald and therefore can’t send my GBA Pokémons to the Japanese D/P.

I think I’m a Pokémon addict.

Congratulations! It is always depressing to be ending these kind of games… but, like it happens with some other things, a new version will come soon and life will start again XP
I have lost interest in pokemon as soon as musashi disappeared, I liked her so much

Unfortunately, in a very real sense, Europe really is the Third World of gaming. Any time a new system or (especially) a long-running RPG comes out, Japan is #1, US is #2 (or depending on the company, US is #1 and Japan #2), and Europe is #3. Still, it does suck. Hey, at least you’re not a gamer in like Africa or India or something. And the games and systems do tend to have some of the bugs worked out by the time they make it over there, don’t they?

I never really had patience to catch all pokemon, after the story part mostly I just stopped playing. Too boring and I don’t achieve anything by doing that.

Indeed, even in my Third World Country the companies are making tournaments and stuff to promote their shit. I’m beginning to belive that the problem is because a company has to localize the games for all Europe(or at least the main countries).

Congrats! I love Pokemon as well, but I’ve not caught one of everything. Don’t worry about those events, man. Even in America we rarely have anything, unless you live in New York. We had a Mew event once, that was it for my area.

Thank Nintendo of America for putting a Pokemon Store in Manhattan. I go there every time they release a new Pokemon game. It’s great!

I’ve always wanted to get all the pokemon. In red version I got 138.

I stopped playing after the gold/silver games though. The series didn’t evolve (no pun intended) enough to warrant me spendng money on sequels. But since diamond/pearl are online…

Bah, you’re not a complete Pokémon addict until you start paying hundreds of dollars each year to run a major website on it. :p

Or until you can beat every Pokémon game (including Red/Blue/Yellow) using teams of only Bug type Pokémon. ;p

I had or have don’t really know where I put them all at my place every pokemon game up until diamond and pearl I caught all but like 1 or 2 pokemon on them and I ended up spending many days and nights trying to catch that one pokemon then I just decided too get my friend too trade it to me so I won in the end. I lost interest and saw nothing unique in the games until I saw Diamond & Pearl and thought they looked ok but then I changed my mind and used to money to buy anime instead ^_^ I tend to do that a lot.

But that’s some amazing determination you got there abq congratulations.

I used to have the same determination for pokemon then I switched all my determination to finishing Higurashi and CCS. *_* yes I did say CCS lol.
