Shana (Shakugan no Shana) vs. Akazukin (Otogi-Jushi Akazukin)

Akazukin has a cute character design, but she doesn’t have much else, yet she wins by default for me because Shana is one of most annoying characters ever. And not a good annoying.

I wish this was a more exciting matchup, since Shana will steamroll a weak opponent like Akazukin.

I’d definitely vote Shirayuki-hime over Shana, but Akazukin is too boyish, and fails for not taking part in the catfight over Souta. I like that picture you found of her, though. It has really cute colors. Care to name the sauce?

I am voting Akazukin (but I know she is going to lose). But Rie Kugimiya, who is Shana’s Seiyuu, also voiced Ringo, and I like Ringo better than Akazukin…

I think that some people who straight away voted fo Shana don’t even know who Akazukin is, it’s not really a fair loli battle. I like Shana for her Tsundere loli and ucchai ucchai ucchai, but Akazukin zukkyuned me to be her onii-chan.

A lot of these matchups are not very fair, if it had been me I would have set up the preliminary rounds against lolis who actually made sense going against each other…i.e. from the same series or alike in character or mannerisms (tsundere type, imouoto type) But because of the current setup the most that people can do is vote for their favorites and hope for the best.

Aaaand I rest my case…people are going to vote for who they want to vote for, regardless. Nevertheless even if you do like the cute/innocent types, Shana spans that category very well, despite being able to kick major ass. Observe.

Me too. This is also probably indicative of how unpopular the series is, even though cute lolis are around. Probably Akazukin should have chosen katana instead.
