Well if you want to get technical, Misuzu is the reincarnated soul of a chick in the feudal era, so spiritually, not physically, Misuzu is old, just like Suigintou.

Oh yeah, and that was probably a spoiler for Air. But if someone hasn’t seen Air yet, they need to throw themselves off the nearest four story building, I figured by now that’s a staple for the Kanon-era of anime. Junk vote GET.

Misuzu probably has the most innocent personality ever. Despite this fact though, she’s not stupid in regards to her surroundings, she can feel what others are feeling as much as an above average competent adult can. In addition, she’s courageous in the sense that she can tolerate so well her own loneliness and longing for love, she always smiles. (A greatly refreshing contrast to the “courage” that you see screaming people with swords have.) Yet she’s not totally obstinate and has a breaking point as shown in the later episodes, making her all the more human and lovable.

The combination of all these things is why I love her so much. And if you haven’t already guessed, it was her that turned me into a lolicon.

like most of the dolls, suigintou’s clothing is gothic lolita (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gothic_Lolita a growing trend in japan); victorian-era dresses designed to be modest while accentuating curves. her personality is far from the typical moe loli, but her defining traits (inferiority, petty rivalry) show she’s quite immature.

up against the extreme moe-power of misuzu, suigintou gets my vote for being badass (both misuzu and suigintou suffer pretty tragically from the moment they opened their eyes)

The pic abq posted for this poll is pretty loli. It’s borderline like Misuzu, but Suigintou’s character, at least in the manga, is that of a teen no doubt. They’re both Loli+, the only sound argument is that the nonliving cannot be loli, but then again, there’s quite a few manga’s/doujins with robot characters that are still undeniably loli.

The story itself is the power of the game/series, drawing us closer to the characters emotionally, and leaving a lasting impression at the finale. It was depressing, sad, and moved me to tears; and yet, I can’t help but think back to the series continually, because it coaxed the feelings out of me in such a way that hasn’t happened before. Air was great; please don’t diss it. Misuzu-chin FTW!

Meh, it does seem a little odd, but it can’t be helped. The fact that they have both been within ~3% of each other for the past what, ten hours is a little suspicious. There’s not much hate for Suigintou since she’s not a meme, so it’s either just assholes against assholes proxy voting, Pro-Sui vs. Pro-Misuzu proxy, or something where the people proxy voting are keeping it close so that it doesn’t look suspicious, therefore MAKING it suspicious.

…or somehow 1,030 people are legit, with only really Suiseiseki’s match being even close to that amount. Must have a lot of Rozen Maiden/Air fans here.

The average number of votes for the past polls was around 600. It’s kind of hard to believe that an extra 400 people came out of nowhere to vote on an anime blog ran by a Swedish guy featuring loli themes.

It has to be that someone is screwing with the votes, because this happening in both the Sui/Eva poll and now this one is too coincidental. Someone(s) is purposely keeping it close to be a dick, and then in the last hour or so they’ll spam one character, probably Misuzu since this is the exact same situation that happened with Suiseiseki.

Bah, this poll should be tossed too, now it was 542/542, then after about 60 seconds of time, became 543/543. Since this has only happened with the Rozen Maidens, there’s obviously someone(s) with a lot of free time who have some thing for screwing with the Rozen Maiden polls. If it was Rozen Maiden enthusiasts proxy voting, Suigintou would have a huge lead, and vice versa in Misuzu’s case. Since it’s been close this whole time, it’s pretty clear it’s either one person, or a small group of people who are keeping it close for no reason than to be annoying. I’d wager money this is the exact foul play that happened with Desu too.

It isn’t like it’s many people, it isn’t really possible for there to be many proxy voters, it’s far too precise. For the votes to stay so even, it’s a small amount of people coordinating it so that it stays close, to be douchebags. If anything, they are people who hate Rozen Maiden for some reason, and will go this far to get Suiseiseki and Suigintou kicked out of it, not people who like Rozen Maiden. While it was proxies for both sides, I’m grudgingly glad to see Suigintou out of it. Not because I dislike her, but because hopefully now the retards will quit it and let us have normal rounds. Every match other than the two unfortunately meme’d Rozens has gone off without a hitch. And it was a VERY VERY close battle from the very beginning, so it could have gone either way without the gayness.

Im sure this will happen again. Happened to suiseiseki, now suigintou and later, Shinku (no mention to hina because even rm fans dont like her much ^^”). As they want every RM doll out of the battle, they just keep both sides close, then rush to one side near the end.
But since the vote count for each side is hidden now, i tell you what will happen. Maybe they will keep the bot vots giving Misuzu a little more votes than to Suigintou. Guess Misizu will win by a “not so close” number of votes.

With even the proxy votes tallied, Eva beat Suiseiseki by something along the margin of ~20-30 votes if I recall. Later some people, and I believe also abq took out the votes they knew were proxied, and Suiseiseki won barely, something like ~5 votes.

So technically speaking, Suiseiseki should’ve won, but there were too many other variables, like the fact that there could’ve been other proxy votes they missed, and she was removed with the sentiment that is wasn’t Desu vs. Eva, but rather Desu vs. Anti-Desu. Now it seems that it wasn’t Anti-Desu so much as Anti-Rozen Maiden, and while the most logical step is to remove all the Rozen Maiden characters, that’s pretty much like giving up and letting the people who screwed up the votes have their way. But it’s not my site, and it isn’t easy to stop.

From what I’ve seen at 4chan, the anon crowd had been more forgiving for Rozen Maiden (and Nanoha) than they would ever be for series like Haruhi. The hate it gained seems to come from the mindless Desu meme spam and the outcome of Saimoe.
