    regardless of the fact that Kyon’s little sister is an major character or not, it does not contribute nor take away from the battle IMO. For me actually watching Mai-Otome (and Haruhi of course) I can see why people don’t like Mashiro due to her spoiled-ness. Although I guess if she were to have a more…lightened up personality and if Otome wasn’t this grim drama then yeah maybe it would of been more “fair”. Also Loli-in-a-bag isn’t much of an excuse to pick the imouto -.-” although portability in the modern world is essential. >.>

    Personally, I think aire time for a Loli has some relevance to who you should pick.. I mean, imouto jump’s in a bag, does a few cool tricks and is all of a sudden “queen Loli”… Hazuki, or any other “great” Loli who is part of the main cast or at the very least sub-cast, has been going out of their way to appeal to us Lolicons for the entire freakin series; whether its acting cute, or showing a bit of skin… the point is, Time does matter, and Imouto just does not have enough of it.. I would hardly fall in love with a Loli ive seen for maybe 20minutes at max throughout the entire series. Even though she’s a likable character, I just dont understand where you guys are coming from….

    Yes, her name is actually Mizushi with thoses kanji: 水死. Her parents had morbid tastes for names. And at her birth, they just wanted to drown her by tossing her in the bay in a bag with bricks because they actually wanted another boy. But she was so cute they couldn’t do it. Nice story isn’t it, too bad it’s totally lies.

    Just never warmed up to Mashiro. For all her screen time, she just never came alive for me. Kyon’s little sister didn’t have much screen time, but we are talking serious quality vs. quantity. A ton of stale crackers doesn’t compare to a single bite of savory filet mignon.

    Really, I don’t know what is is about Imouto that delights me. In this contest I usually vote for the sexier or more glompable character, and I don’t see her in that light. I gues it’s just the way she is in the series - the folks who did ‘Melancholy’ poured a lot of love into that show and everyhting about it just seems “more”. Guess she just has heart.

    Course, pairing her vs. the unsexy (to me) and hands-off Mashiro makes this one no contest for me. Poor Mashiro - a good story character, but I think she’ll get slaughtered in this contest.

    I was not thinking about that, anyways lots of Japanese name are really close to each other in Romanji. I was just thinking about a reason why her name was never mentioned (morbid reason). And also do an allusion with loli in a bag. Anyways, I seriously doubt many japanese use the kanji for death 死 in their child’s name, which make this name even more unrealistic.

    I’d be very surprised if Imouto has the strength to beat either Desu or Gao. Even with the “OMG THEY ARE NOT LOLIS” faggotry that appeared on their battles (Desu is a doll, Gao is not really that flat chested), they are pretty popular.
