I did watch Haruhi, but I still fail to see how Imouto does anything significant beyond being cute and innocent. I don’t feel like she’s anything more than that though. And no, I can’t go back and rewatch Haruhi, I deleted it a while ago when it was licensed.
I must say that this is are my two favorite lolis from the whole battle, so it´s a very difficult choice for me. But in the end, I´ve decided Ilya. I´d fucking go to hell for Ilya. And some support pics will be posted later

I haven’t seen either series, so it’s a really tough one for me: someone’s cute little sister or a cute…er…something. A quick look in a Worldbook dictionary defined homunculus as “a little man” and a “human fetus”. Looking through an old D&D Creature Catalogue (circa 1986), it’s an immortal disguised as a very little person acting as a servant to someone for one reason or another (Like this is something to decide a vote on in lieu of watching the show(s)!). They’re both cute little things (I followed the links to the pictures), but I think overall, Ilya looked cuter (I only have the pictures to go by, so don’t kill me little sister fans!). She gets my [largely unqualified] vote.

This whole battle is an utter failure. Basically all the unique characters struct down in the first or second round, people voting based on how much they love or hate the series without considering the qualities of the characters themselves, hate voting and blatant cheating, etc, etc.

I’ve voted for the characters themselves not the love of the show. Ilya is hot, and seductive, Fate and Nanoha are hot and badass in their own way, several of my other choices were killed off but I voted for them based on the character and not the love of the show.

As I said, if I hadn’t seen the series before hand, I probably wouldn’t watch it now.
I started watching TMoHS as it was aired, but I wasn’t on the various forums and stuff to listen to all the crap about Haruhi-ism and such. All that bull annoys me as well, but I’ve already seen the series.
Same for Fate/Stay. I like the show, since I saw it awhile ago. But If I were to start watching it now, I think I’d be too annoyed with all this crap about Ilya to enjoy it.
I have yet to see Nonaha A’s, and I don’t think I will. Besides, it looks ok, but not something that I personally would find interesting. From what I’ve seen, its looks like a ‘magical-girl’ anime, and I’m not particularly fond of them. So unless I’m wrong, and it is some sort of god-blessed anime that must be watched, I can’t see me sitting down to watch it.

Imouto may have a chance against Fate. After all, she’s getting the votes of all the people who’s favorite characters have already fallen. If you dislike all the contenders in the semifinals, what a more entertaining way to vote then go for the one that is barely even a minor character.
Imouto is not a minor chara. She had a great impact in me. While SHnY is a boring show, imouto is the reason why i watched that show.
