    Surprisingly high votes considering you had to register. Over 700 people registered! That is probably more than other blogs have visitors.

    A fair amount of votes in prior rounds were probably non-legit ones, but I bet the biggest dropouts were the lazy fuckers who wouldn’t bother to register + casual passersby.

    I LOVE EVERYONE WHO VOTED SHANA!, but Fate also put up a good fight. Extremely close and doesn’t seem like there would be an end to the almost-always even votes.     Other people mentioned the fact that registration leads to a lower turnout, but the vote total is indeed quite lower than other battles. It’s a good thing two great contestants and contenders actually made it to the finals despite the proxying. But, in the end, the might of Noizi Ito and melonpan ruled over all and gave us a worthy victor.

    I’ll miss the daily loli battles. I have to thank abq for the great fun it has been the last month. And I’ll probably be lurking around this blog much more than I used to, so good job, abq.

     There’s a question I’ve been meaning to ask since I stumbled upon this site; what does “tsundere” mean?

     And looking at the competition chart that shows who went against who, I wonder why characters from the same show weren’t pitted against each other first? That way would definitely make sure that in the end all the finalists will be from different shows, and complaints similar to the “Fate versus Nanoha” complaints could be avoided. After all, the idea was to compare girls from different anime, wasn’t it?

     Thanks for the definition of tsundere. I think I knew a few girls like that in junior high, though their attentions were of course directed at others rather than me.

     I didn’t want to compare series, just the girls from them. It was only a thought. Like, once you decide which girl from series A is the best, you compare her with the best girl from series B. However, for guys like me that probably wouldn’t workout to well as I haven’t seen as much anime as others anyway. And there’s nothing really wrong with free-for-alls anyway. Just expanding on the Fate versus Nanoha complaint: taking it to mean that in general some people don’t want finals where most to all contestants come from one show. But if y’all don’t mind then there was never anything to consider(Like I run this show. HA-HA! Not EVER likely!!). I talk too much.

     Well Shana is officially the new Lolipatra. Still think it should have been decided by wrestling in lime jello but one can’t have everything…
     Is this going to be an annual contest? Even if I hadn’t the slightest idea who most of the girls are it was fun to watch this unfold. Lots of fun and silliness (like a anyone could even think a shark is better than a crocodile… HAH!)

     Sorry, couldn’t bear a battle comments thread being free of that particular idiocy. A more deserving winner than some contenders would’ve been, for sure. Have to admit I’m glad Fate didn’t take it, since I find her kind of contemptible.

     Im still thinking that Hazuki is the best loli ever.

     Certainly up there for ‘most loli’, though whether that == best is a matter of taste. She’s more or less service personified, which might count against her for some.

     Thanks to abq for running the battle; was an amusing diversion from quotidian tedium.
