not just another anime blog
I work at a GameCrazy store and periodically, our computers will be updated with information before publishers release it (for example, we have “Riddick” for the PS3 and XB360 in our systems, but no announcement has been made). Anyway, I was checking trade-in values this morning for Phoenix Wright, and I noticed six entries instead of the usual four (each game has an entry for a used copy and a new copy.. so four entries = 2 games, 8 entries = 4 games, etc).
Anyway, I went back and looked, and I noticed that they have put in a new Phoenix Wright game, slated for this fall, and the tagline cut off, but it said “Phoenix Wright - Trials Tribu”. I’m guessing it could be “Trials and Tribulations”, but I don’t know. It had a release date of 9/25/07.
With Capcom Gamer’s Day coming up I wouldn’t be surprised at all if this was true. Good news, good news. I hope the Japanese version will be out earlier.

Can you read Moonspeak?
Capcom day… I hope they talk more about Umbrella Chronicles. And what would I give for a Wiikami (okami ported for the wii).
Fingers crossed
>>Can you read Moonspeak?
I’m pretty sure he can, he blogs raws all the time.
Sorry, no lolis.
What is Moonspeak ?
^ Japanese.
The Japanese versions of the DS ports of Phoenix Wright have been bilingual so the port of GS3 should be too. I much prefer playing text-heavy games in English, crazy moon language gives me headaches.
Wait, I thought Spanish was crazy moon language?
>>crazy moon language gives me headaches.
This is true.
>>Wait, I thought Spanish was crazy moon language?
Lurk more.
Are you talking about this?
If so, it seems to say this time it’s actually “Japanese language support ONLY”. Contrary to, say, the second game, which says “Language: English/Japanese (selectable)”.
I hope I’m wrong though, that way I wouldn’t have to wait months for the english localization ;-;
you’re not, I heard of that before; it’s not import friendly this time around.
GS4 is Japanese only but I still believe that the DS port of GS3 will be bilingual.
Lol, go on CR too, huh abq.
Great news. And no, the thing marked is definitely, 90% sure not GS4. It’s not billingual because apparently, Japanese people only like playing games in English if it’s a port/remake, not a game originally on the DS
3’s going to kick my ass.
Lurk more.
The phrase comes from an episode of The Tick, “That Moustache Feeling,” in which a sentient moustache attempts to communicate with the mighty blue one by writing him notes… in Spanish. To which the Tick replies “I don’t speak your crazy moon language!”
Hence my assertion re: Japanese v. Spanish…
Get a name. You are not one of us.
It’s very true. I too work at a GameCrazy store and did the same thing yesterday. I’m gonna preorder today ^^
