   I know this is a little off subject but I was wondering if anyone could answer this question for me:

   I am going to Japan this year on the exchange program at my school. If I were to buy volumes of the Kodomo no Jikan manga, would I get arrested for trying to bring it back into the country? I’ve read a little about the child pornography laws in the US and I THINK I understand them. From what I’ve read of Kodomo no Jikan nothing is particualarly explicit and there are no ACTUAL sexual acts involving the children. If anyone can give me an answer it’d be greatly appreciated.

   If you consider Glasgow, Scotland to be southern, then yes.

   @Senbon Zakura; If you’re talking about the KnJ manga that the anime series was based on, no problem. If was in fact being sold (in English no less) in the US. The company distributing it dropped it due to complaints and fear of bad press, not due to it being illegal. But why go thru all that trouble? You can get it right now if you want.
