Uh I don’t think so. There are enough people who read everything before they vote, like I do. And if it’s not for voting, then it’s pure to show the loliness of the chars, because we all like some sauce. Links are never wrong, right? You still follow it anyway, especially if it’s about the loli you like.

More so when the choice is difficult, people want to see other people’s opinion, and then decide which one is the best.

It seems El_Mex got an answer before I answered. Anyway, a good example is like now, because I don’t know both Sasami and Chibiusa. (Alright you can flame me for not watching Sailor Moon.)

For this I just looked at other people’s comments and followed some links in order to get a good view of the character herself.
This made me vote for Sasami.

She looks the same. And “Tenchi Muyo” is just a placeholder for the various Tenchi series, Pretty Sammy, etc. After all, Chibiusa is listed as from “Sailor Moon”, not “Sailor Moon R, Sailor Moon S, Sailor Moon Supers, Sailor Stars” - which would be accurate but tedious.
