Well, lets get one thing clear before we start, Steve Jobs’ health is by far more important than you and me and all the loli porn in the world combined. Steve Jobs therefore takes priority over everything.

Furthermore, there is no interesting, ourageous take on the article. Kiddy porn is like wife beating or torture; no sane person would argue for it (trailer trash and republicans don’t fulfill the “sane” requisite and it’s questionable whether one can call them humans at all).

I basically agree in principle, but question the methods and effectiveness. A system of blocking certain sites is bound to be arbitrary. Some non-kiddy porn site could get blocked while some kiddy porn sites will slip through. Just one single false positive would be a restriction on fundamental rights.

Will it make a difference? Perhaps for commercial site (if they even exist). For everyone else, it will be business as usual only with slightly different tools. Hell, with all the racy pictures kids post on social networking sites today, you don’t even have to go to the shady parts of the Internet any longer.
