If you don’t like Jigoku Shoujo, you deserve to die. I think I have a spare soul somewhere that I can sacrifice. So just drop me a note with your name and I’ll enter it on Jigoku Tsuushin.

Seriously, watch it! Jigoku Shoujo is what you would get if you combined Death Note, Fatal Frame/Project Zero and the Red Room.

Urban legends and horror movies rarely make me flinch. Jigoku Shoujo had me on tenterhooks since Mayumi discovered Jigoku Tsuushin. The magnificent art direction and brilliant background music further enhanced that feeling of suspense.

Aya is hot. I agree that she was a bitch, but she didn’t deserve to die. Punish-fucked for all eternity would be a more fitting punishment. But unfortunately for Aya, Mayumi chose ‘not to be‘ for Aya.

Someone even hotter than Aya is Ai, the hell girl (duh). More Ai please. Mamiko Noto♥.

Does anyone know why Japanese take off their shoes before comitting suicide? Is it somehow connected with the custom of taking off your shoes when entering someone’s house? Or is it something someone saw on a drama series and thought would be cool to do?
