not just another anime blog

That is it, I’ve finally completed the National Pokédex in Pokémon Emerald. It doesn’t end there, though. Through breeding and trading with myself, I’ve made sure to have all 386 Pokémons, sorted in numerical order, in my storage boxes.
The some of the Event Pokémons might be less legit than others. I don’t feel bad for it and for all I know the game thinks they are legit. It’s not my fault Nintendo and all other companies treat Europe as the Third World of gaming. They never have any events here.
I don’t know what I should do now that I’ve caught every Pokémon. I’ve finished the Japanese version of Pokémon Diamond (70-ish Pokémons in possession, National Pokédex unlocked, Sheimi and Darkrai obtained through glitches) and just got the fourth badge in Pearl. Even though all Pokémons except for the previous starters and legendaries are available in D/P, I think I’ll wait for the US version before I attempt to catch one of every Pokémon again. Mainly because I have a US version of Emerald and therefore can’t send my GBA Pokémons to the Japanese D/P.
I think I’m a Pokémon addict.
Chinese student arrested after making 150 million yen selling items for online RPG:
KUMAMOTO — A university student from China has been arrested for illegally engaging in business activities outside the restrictions of his student visa, police said.
Wang Yue Si, 23, came to Japan on a student visa in April 2004. He started selling items such as weapons and currency for online games through an Internet auction site in April this year, without obtaining the appropriate residency status.
Wang, living in Kumamoto, has admitted that he sold the virtual goods for about 6 million yen, in violation of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Law.
A bank worker became suspicious when Wang regularly sent money back home to China and alerted police in August, prompting Kumamoto police officers to investigate the student.
Police suspect that Wang has sold a total of 150 million yen in virtual items and sent more than 100 million yen to China. (Mainichi)
Why was the guy studying in Japan when he had already mastered the noble art of gold farming? And what is with the Chinese and gold farming? They must have it in their blood or something. Fifty years of communism must have developed some kind of gold farmer gene.

505 Games will no longer publish controversial horror title Rule of Rose in the UK.
The game was due to go on release today, but has faced a storm of criticism regarding its content, with even the Mayor of Rome, Walter Veltroni, and European justice and security commissioner Franco Frattini blasting the games’ “obscene cruelty and brutality.”
“Following discussions with our retail and publishing partners, 505 Games has taken the decision not to publish Rule of Rose in the UK at this time,” said the publisher.
The move is an about turn by 505 Games, which recently challenged critics to view the game itself, after ratings boards PEGI and the Interactive Software and Video Standards Council judged the title suitable for release.
So the Mayor of Rome doesn’t like a game with loli lesbian undertones. Too few altar boys being molested for his taste I guess.
However, Tecmo admits that Itagaki and a number of other people “mingled personal affairs” which in turn “hindered the normal operation of the company by introducing uncecessary confusion into the workplace.” Sex orgy at the office or a huge circle jerk while playing the latest build of Dead or Alive Xtreme 2? You decide.
Itagaki’s pimp status confirmed (translated by Ikachii from IGN’s forum).
Some former employee of Tecmo (31 years old) filed for 10 mil JPY in damages against Itagaki (39) for acts of sexual harassment dating back to Sept. 2003!
Girl claimed she quit the company on the 8th of Sept. this year because of Itagaki and filed suit on the 10th. The existence of the case just came to light today
This explains Itagaki’s sudden demotion to Exec. Officer from Managing Exec. Officer
Some pretty rancid details in the article; taxis, hotels, deep kissing etc., with Itagaki admitting it, but saying it was consensual — dude is married with children too — heheh
Tecmo dissed the girl when she brought the issue to them too — her boss told her to handle the situation herself; the company told her that they couldn’t label it as sexual harassment and that if she ditched work for another two weeks or more she’d be let go (she hadn’t been coming into the office due to being mentally affected by the situation)
Here’s to the man who brought us teh best in CG titties
It’s obvious that Itagaki only used her as a reference model for the new breast physics engine in DOAX2.
