I’m aware that this is the Internet, a place entirely devoid of any form of logic and reason, but I will try to explain the situation anyway. Is it unfair that Suiseiseki got removed? Totally. But Suiseiseki was the cause of the problems and from my point of view removing her was the only option I had save pulling the plug of the whole thing. And don’t give me the crap that Evangeline cheated too. That was the work of the anti-desu camp; remove the cause and you remove the problem as clearly illustrated with today’s Eva rematch.

Some of you might think it is outrageous, but you are forgetting something; what other solutions do you have? I can’t magically tell the difference between legit votes and proxy votes. I have taken some precautions, most proxy servers are blocked because they use HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR and HTTP_VIA variables, but those who don’t look like any other user.

What about Suigintou? Despite her questionable loli status, I didn’t want to remove her. I do however believe in prevention before intervention (except when it comes to pregnancies, not that it matters with lolis anyway) and would rather prefer to avoid future shitstorms. In any case against better judgement I will have a round with Suigintou tonight. If it goes well we’ll see what happens.
