Low age of consent luring pedophiles to Canada

Canada is becoming a destination for child sex tourism because of its relatively low age of sexual consent, according to an international report released on Tuesday.

It urges Canada to raise the age of sexual consent to 16 from 14 and to make the national sex offender registry retroactive, as well as more easily accessible. The Harper government has already introduced a bill that would raise the age of consent to 16.

“Americans and other pedophiles are coming north to Canada because of our very lax age-of-protection laws,” Toews said.

Under Canadian law, the age of consent is 18 years where the sexual activity involves exploitative activity, such as prostitution, pornography or situations where there is a relationship of trust, authority or dependency. For other sexual activity, the age of consent is 14 years.

I think those sly, frog-eating Canadians are trying to imply something with the phrase “Americans and other pedophiles.”

Is prostitution legal in Canada? If it’s not illegal it can’t be morally wrong. I guess that goes for fourteen-year-olds as well. Still no buttsecks until eighteen, though, right?

4 -year-old Accused of Improperly Touching Teacher

BELLMEAD- A four-year-old hugged his teachers aide and was put into in-school suspension, according to the father. But La Vega school administrators have a different story.

Damarcus Blackwell’s four-year-old son was lining-up to get on the bus after school last month, when he was accused of rubbing his face in the chest of a female employee.

The prinicipal of La Vega Primary School sent a letter to the Blackwells that said the pre-kindergartener demonstrated “inappropriate physical behavior interpreted as sexual contact and/or sexual harassment.”

David Davis, the executive director of the Advocacy Center in Waco tends to agree with Blackwell. He says assuming the boy has not had sexual encounters, or been inappropriately exposed to pornography, most four-year-olds are sexually innocent.

The father taught his son well. I’m sure he will grow up to be a great perv.

Penalty for unwrapping gifts early: Arrest

A mother convinced Rock Hill police to arrest her 12-year-old son after he unwrapped a Christmas present early.

The boy’s great-grandmother had specifically told him not to open his Nintendo Game Boy Advance, which she had wrapped and placed beneath the Christmas tree, according to a police report.

But on Sunday morning, she found the box of the popular handheld game console unwrapped and opened. When the boy’s 27-year-old mother heard about the opened gift, she called police.

Both the great-grandmother and the mother asked the boy on Sunday where the present was. The boy replied he didn’t know.

When the mother threatened to call the police, the boy went into his room and got the Game Boy, the report stated. She called the police anyway.

She had the child when she was 15, the woman said, and has been a single mother struggling to earn a business degree.

The boy “showed no remorse” when the police came, the mother said.

Let this be a lesson to all of you. Always use protection when with a 15-year-old.
